Initial discussion

Romain and I had a series of discussions via email. He was excellent at educating me about himself, his business and crucially what he needed and what he was struggling with.

After many years working for others he had finally decided to go it alone and open his own barbershop. However in order to secure the funding needed from potential investors, Romain needed a whole new brand identity to turn his dreams into reality. Together we crafted a luxurious and stylish identity that culminated in a proposal document that successful in getting the finances he needed.

After numerous hours spent researching and drawing, a unique logotype emerged that combined all of the elements I was looking for.

The final selection of typefaces for chosen as they both contrast and compliment each other whilst giving a feel of heritage and sophistication.

Arriving at my final choice of colours took much research and consideration. They had to feel refined and timeless, to match the feel of the logo, but also have the flexibility to be livened up if needed.

Where do I start? I’m absolutely speechless, it’s like you opened up my head you went inside my brain and as the saying goes the rest is history.

At first I wanted all the spelling to be in French (SEPT GARÇONS) in my head sounded better then (SEVENGARÇONS) but I have to admit image wise mixing the two is beautiful You truly are gifted and master in your field. I salute you!
